Municipal IQ is a unique data and intelligence source which objectively quantifies and ranks the performance of all of South Africa’s 283 municipalities. The subscription service is useful to the following stakeholders:

1. Municipalities wishing to benchmark their progress against other municipalities regionally, provincially and nationally.
2. Those regulating and monitoring the performance of municipalities, including national and provincial government, as well as research organisations, multi-lateral agencies, and political parties.
3. Financial services, development finance institutions, and other service providers wanting to objectively assess the prospects and performance of municipalities across a range of socio-economic as well as financial considerations – effectively providing a broad-based risk-rating.
