Municipal IQ has a new Municipal Tender Tool Kit which aims to assist service providers wishing to do business with a municipality to gauge that municipality’s attractiveness in the carrying out of commercial transactions.

This is done by providing tender “intelligence” on South Africa’s municipalities through a series of tools which reflects the socio-economic context of a municipality, as well as its track record in expending its budget and collecting revenue.

The Municipal Tender Tool Kit also provides tailored, up-to-the-minute information on tenders and tender availability in partnership with Tender SA. Users can have the latest municipal tenders e-mailed to them daily and can also interact with a list of tenders in the Tender Tool Kit, breaking down this list in a number of ways: by province, by municipality, by municipality code, by place name, by category, by classification, by key sector, and by detailed sector.
